We review as many restaurants as possible in the Downtown Area, Waxahachie City and Ellis County. And will post our findings and Reviews as we received them. We RecommendThe Chisholm Grill for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Located just across from the SE corner of the courthouse. The Chisholm Grill serves up some of the best food in Waxahachie. Their breakfast is one of the best in town. Plus, its nice to dine in a little history, this building has been a restaurant at different times for more than 80 years. The Foods is good and so is the service.  We RecommendThe Dove's Nest Restauant - Located in a building that was a hardware store, tack and saddle shop for some 60 odd years, the Dove's Nest Restaurant is unique. It is only open for Lunch Monday to Saturday and serves salads, soups sandwiches and pizza. Thei menu is considered New American Cuisine. This is my wife's favorite restaurant and we dine as often as we can! The dining is done is a very pleasant French Country decor with pleaty of framed pictures and wall treatment. The Chicken Apricot Salad is very famous here by ny personal favorite is the Buffalo Burger. The Dove's Nest Restaurant does a brisk lunch business, we would recommened getting there early for lunch.
