100 W Main St Waxahachie TX 75165 Review The Trinity Drug Store is one our historic buildings downtown which has been pictured in numerious historic photos of downtown Waxahachie all the way back to the 1880s. Inside the Drug Store you will find the original soda counter where the attendants serve up real old fashion malts and shakes. Their menu includes hamburgers, sandwiches and much more.
From a friend, I had heard the Drug Store Soda Counter served a really outstanding chickensalad sandwich. The other day, while downtown, I had the opportunity to stopping by and have lunch. Seated at the old counter, I felt like I was in an old movie! I ordered the chickensalad and a glass of iced tea which was very reasonably priced.
My friend was certainly right. The chicken salad sandwich was very good and had that fresh homemade taste. The tea was very good also. And the price for the whole meal including my drink was $4.28 with tax!
If you are downtown and would like to treat yourself to something a little different, step into the Trinity Drug and time and have an old fashion chickensalad sandwich or shake! You won't be disappointed. Rating |
