For over 15 years I traveled extensively through out the Great State of Texas. Being a history buff  I always scooped up a small amount of the soil from every historic places I visited.

• The Fort Worth Stockyards - Wild Whhite elephant Saloon where a famous shoot out occured between Luke Short and Sheriff Jim Courtwright. And the Somping grounds of the likes of Butch Cassidy and his gang along with the hardin gang and others.
• Dallas Texas - Dealy Plaza and the grassy Knoll.
• Fort Davis, Texas - Kiowa and Commanche hunting ground where many engagements  between them Buffalo Soldiers of Fort Davis.
• Alpine, Texas - Home of Sul Ross University where Dan Blocker attended and a favorite hunting ground of the Kiowa, Commanche. And raiding area of the southern Apache!
• Palo Duro Canyon and the famous Battles of Adobe Walls with the  soldiers from Fort Davis, Texas and Fort Bascom, New Mexico. There were actually twos battles, one in 1864 and one in 1874.  At one time there were more than 1500 Kiowa and Commanche lodges located in their camp ground close to Adobe Wall.s
• Hillsboro - Weatherford, Texas - Waggon Train massacree by Commanche and Kiowa warriors 1880.
• Fort Griffith, Texas the wildest Town and Fort on the Frontier in the 1860. This is where the Buffalo Huntersm, outlaws and other individuals came to drink, party and fight.  Wild Bill, James Cody and others also visited this place.
• The Pecos River Bank - At its head waters in West Texas. The River starts with a small stream which you can step across and grows to a great  river  very wide high cliffs. Where Judge Roy Bean was the Law ifyou lived west of it!
• Langtry, Texas - Home of Judge Roy Bean the Law West of the Pecos!
• Shang High Pierce - Famous cattle baron and his cattles drives from south Texas to Dodge City and Wyatt Earp!
• Chisolm Trail - The Cattle trail used by Ranchers from South Texas to get their Cattle north to the Railheads in Kansas.
• Charles Goodnight - This is a more west route to get cattle N to railheads further west than Dodge City. (From the air you can still see the scar on the land from all the cattle huge cattles that came across it.
