Update Returant Review

It seems the specialty of the house is baked potato topped with butter, sour cream and chopped beef BBQ. I have never had one because the Food Police will not allow me too.  Every time I dined here I have seen many people having that potato.  Out of curiosity, my companion and I calcualted the caloric intake of that potato and found it to be quite substantial! If you do indulge and have that Loaded Baked Potato should not have to eat another meal for approximately eight days!

On our latest visit, my companion we found that many of the locals dine here for lunch on a regular basis as  the line  at the ordering window was pretty long for such a small restaurant.   My companion had the chicken and I had the combination plate. The Chicken and BBQ was very good but not the best  we have had.  Along with my entre I had the potato salad and beans wich were very good.  All in all the food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. Plenty of tables were available inside and outside dining was available.   We recommend getting there a little early or a little after 1:00 to miss the lunch rush.  Restaurant closes at 2:30 PM.  Earlier if business is slow.  With the Texas Country Report coming on the 24th, we were told that the BBQ  Pit will be open all day.
