 Webb Gallery was born in Waxahachie, Texas in 1987. What started as a passion for old handmade items such as painted or repaired objects, fraternal lodge items, tramp art, memory jugs, and quilts, became a continuous quest for the unusual. The Webbs have been crisscrossing Texas, the South, and the Midwest in search of the miraculous for more than a decade.
In 1989, the Webbs began the inevitable evolution of searching for self-taught artists to collect their creations and document their stories. In addition to obsessively collecting, Bruce & Julie lecture and curate exhibits in schools, universities, and museums across the country.
Webb Gallery houses a huge collection of self taught art, old fraternal lodge objects, and vintage anonymous art. Webb Gallery often hosts events, including films, musical performances, speakers, and socials.
