Vintage Life Magazines Found - This is great news for all you magazine collectors. Several weeks back we discovered a box in a local attic that contained a nice collection of Life Magazines. Located on the east side of Highway 77 next to the HEB parking lot, they open at 11:00 a.m. everyday and close at 10:00 p.m. weekdays, 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. You can enjoy Buffet City as late as 9:30 p.m. on Sundays.

The Victorian Christmas Festival is a new event for Christmas but one that I believe is going to grow in popularity. At this time, the downtown is taken back in time, to the Victorian era and Christmas. You will see local citizens stolling around in Victorian cloths, music of that era, and the stores are all decked out in their Christmas finery. 
This is one of Waxahachie's most famous events and its FREE. Funded totally by donations and staffed by local volunteers from the local churches.
